I’m a city girl from Philadelphia living in the suburbs of Connecticut. I spent a couple of years at University of the Arts in Philadelphia back in the 80’s but wandered away from art for 30 years to pursue a career in marketing and raise three kids. Then Covid happened.
A lot of things changed for a lot of people during the pandemic. For me, it was rediscovering my art. And since then I have reclaimed it as a passion.
Today I’m drawn to the juxtaposition of urban grunge, the natural world and saturated colors. I work in mixed media; acrylics, spray paints, markers, crayons and collage often using my deconstructed photos as elements.
